The images for 
Epiphany 15, in my work 
notebook, "I'll cut the 
livers and the lights 
out o' ye." This epiphany 
reappears in the additional pages of Stephen Hero. It is thrilling to find the epiphanies in Joyce's
books, placed like lodestones or small magic elements throughout the writing.
