The density of our communicative invention called language has caused it to collapse in on itself. Electronic technology is reversing this process, furnishing us with new and verdant spaces. We celebrate the bounty language has gathered during its long incubation in a compressed and encoded state.

When we decided to BEcome the metaphor of BIRD we didn't look to prayer and magic for a future generation emerging with small bilateral underarm webbings as an onset of natural flight hardware fit for kings and queens of the food chain. Instead our ancestors humbly accepted their literal and lateral limitations, and invented remote bodly extensions to carry them out and up into those powder blue days and navy blue nights.

But had we believed, let's say, that because 2 is a lower number than 4 it signified a hierarchical relationship in regard to worthiness, our natures would never have allowed us to surrender ALL fours in order to achieve mere twos. Refusing then, on the grounds of common sense, to strive towards an upright position, we'd have missed out on the addictive elixir that both sustained and bogged us down us for centuries: the notion that our upright position pitches us forward into an uphill direction; allowing us to process in chronology to progress in every way.

This uphill progressive processing allowed us mirroring as heroes in the face of obstacles we overcame with analysis, diligence and faith. We see that our Sisyphean boulder, its substance the consistency of a stinging mulch of slings, arrows, distractions, arbitrary constructs, premature beginnings, untimely endings, metaphors catapulted into delusions, and, last and least considered, nature, rolls back only to situate us on a higher plateau born of our own invention.

Following along the dotted line, naturally we cached our experience into written language under the auspices of a progression. Our scroll, codex and book not only reflect addiction to the recording of our knowledge linearly, but our unmitigated success in quarantining the language of words from the language of images.

THE NEW CENTER-RING

The material of the content of the internet is metaphorically close to the nature of the basic common denominator of matter: electrons creating packets of data that are lively, buoyant and free to interact; a powerful manifestation of the pure power of 1's and 0's in the form nearest to what they are: alternate and juxtaposed impulses.
