THE BORROMEAN KNOT

The Borromean Knot consists of 3 rings which, together, constitute an entire world.

Modeled in 20th century by Jacques Lacan, this model in particular stressed the existence of three simultaneous registers in life: the imaginary, the symbolic and the real.

The Symbolic registers the construction of language; the Imaginary registers the fantasy and imagery in our lives and the Reality completes the configuration with whatever is left over and unaccountable for, impossible to symbolize, a nd/or inexpressible. It is Dr. Musing's contention that most of the Reality Ring emerges as the unstated content produced in the silent but profound synapse-space of each link between things in a pluralistic world.
