PROJECT
DESCRIPTION

1. Lawrence's text

Upon entering the time & space of HOMEPORT all particpants must leave behind their assumptions and expectations ( as well as their garb) and accept that no matter where they think they were they are no longer there but in the digital dream space of (a) the web.

Once within HOMEPORT there is no means of proceeding without mixing what is perceived as (a) reality and what we must consider dream space or reality based assumptions not necessarily correct. The assumptions of meaning rest upon the acceptance of a linear historical time & space whereas enigma carries with it an inherent value structure. Aphorism and paradigm contain at their best only meaning, allowing the particpants in HOMEPORT to function as the navigator of a ship in not-known seas as opposed to the the role of a pilot boat leading that (what) along a pre-known route.

2. ada text

There are nine hidden passageways in HOMEPORT. Only one person at a time can pass through a porthole to embark on a voyage. these portholes are revealed when you use one of the secret words. Members are marked by their meandering with special props which can be carried to other palaces. Non-members can travel too, but won't keep what they receive.

To reach HOMEPORT, you will need to use "The Palace" client software. You can download the software for either Macintosh or PC for free at http://www.adaweb.com/project/homeport, and register if you like with The Palace for full Palace membership privileges ( call 1-800-PALACE2).
