Monday evening

Bob Gober ran up to me in that bob-goberish way he has as I was leaving the meeting tonight then ran off when someone else called him. Has anyone ever noticed that Bob is kind of like a half-trained cocker spaniel?

Finally got a check from Meyers/Bloom and ran off to cash it at the bank before it closed. Now I can pay bills. I think her bookkeeping is screwed up because they put down the wrong painting and inventory number. I hope that means they still owe me another check right away.

Paul now has fluid in his lungs and sounds like a tractor when he breathes. Getting steroid and pentamadine treatment and Mark said they gave him thorazine tonight. I suggested that mark ask for a hit of that last drug himself, I think he is driving the doctors crazy.

Finally got a report on Florence and it sounds as though everyone had a lovely time at the Uffizi...

OK'd a dummy of my mailer and set up a meeting to talk business this Thursday with them. I think they think I'll bring in a lot of new collectors.

Weather is back to summer this week and I plan to hit the beach Wednesday. Found some of the varnish I need at Pearl so I can finish the paintings I'm working on in the next week or two. Then i can goof off or start working on new projects.

Tony Feher is in a show at Andrea Rosen and was passing out invites to it at the meeting and trying to disassociate himself from the motely crowd, ah how a little fame goes to one's head! The crowd was a bit depressed especially after a committee proposed to do a demo in front of City Hall. I thought Bob Rafsky was going to have a heart attack but he just mumbled and kept his mouth shut.
