11:41 am
I woke up early this morning but Donahue was about paternity so went back to sleep, and kept going back to sleep until 11:00. Jess took off early. He slept, I think, two days straight.
Made corrections on a Met Life job on the Texet last night and I think I've got it down. Now I have a paste-up man and another proofreader to do all my work. But whenever I sit down to figure things out on the Texet -- like the UNIX functions -- my boss finds some other busy work for me to do.
When Jess finally leaves I'm going to redo the apartment -- move paintings into the kitchen again, table into the bedroom and have the front room empty. There was an article in the paper about people who don't have kitchens. I don't really need one all that much. I can work out a storage system but haven't figured out where to put the TV. Might change the doors, come in through the living room and use the back entrance for a closet. I should use the cupboards better and throw things out, start spring cleaning early.
