I love these recently discovered pictures of my parents.
All the strength, hope and passion of their youth can
be felt somehow. The pictures were taken around 1951 in
Plymouth, Mass. My mother's family owned a summer resort
hotel called"Hilltop Mansion". This was a converted mansion
on the top of a hill. It was a family resort where mostly
Armenian families spent their 1 or 2 weeks at the ocean.
My father is an electrical engineer, retired. He worked in
computers and communications. He worked on Arpanet. He wrote a
book on the switching principles for telephone routing. It's called
On Switching by Norman Hovagimyan. My Mother and her family were
artistic and intellectuals. That's where I inherit my artist demeanor.
